Wednesday 5/10/23 at 2pm in St. Anthony of Padua Church
Our 8th Graders, in their graduation gowns, and our 2nd Graders, in their First Communion outfits, will lead our school and May Court to church for the crowning of the Blessed Mother. May Crowning is a traditional Roman Catholic ritual held during the month of May. At the close of the procession a statue of the Blessed Virgin is crowned with a garland or crown of flowers honoring Mary as “the Queen of May.”
